The Crease Side Table is where sculpture meets functional engineering. With flexibility the primary focus, the cantilever design allows it to slide smoothly over a sofa cushion or sitting chair to provide an extra surface whenever needed. When it is not used for this purpose, it enjoys a classic role as a couch or bedside table unit. 

The base is made from solid hardwood to provide a heavily weighted base for stability. It features a soft, hand shaped radius that gives this table a dramatic architectural look. The top is made of laser-cut steel that is later bent into shape and finished with a durable powder coat or blackened steel finish. 

The steel and wood mate together seamlessly without fasteners or adhesive which is vital in keeping this design clean and minimalistic. This is made possible by the use of powerful magnets to keep the 2 pieces firmly attached while still maintaining the ability to separate them in case a re-finish or repair is required later in time.
